The value of seva
In my life, seva — selfless service — stands as a personal, aspirational beacon, reflecting the profound power in serving without expecting anything in return. It’s a practice that enriches my journey, fostering a sense of purpose and community.
Seva has shaped both my personal journey and my professional ethos. I strive to weave this into my personal life, investments, coaching, and beyond. This commitment has driven me to work with social enterprises, non-profits, charities, and public entities such as the NHS, both directly and through The Kairos Project, which we co-founded in 2010.
I’m deeply committed to exploring innovative technology to support causes like mental health and domestic abuse prevention (such as SEEMEE/NYAAY) both directly and in partnership with my coaching and investee relationships.
I’m also passionate about pushing my physical and mental limits through sponsored challenges, all in the name of raising funds and awareness for charity.

Organisations I have worked with
Over the years, I have made a commitment to allocate a portion of my working life to giving back and service. Here are a few words about some of the organisations I have supported.
The Kairos Project
Through The Kairos Project, I’ve found a meaningful way to bring my coaching skills to the non-profit sector worldwide. This engagement is a testament to the transformative power of collaborative support and is a continual source of inspiration in my work.
Teach For All
Teach For All is an extraordinary global network I admire, aiming to ensure all children have the opportunity to realise their potential. This organisation’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities aligns with my belief in empowering future generations.
The Unreasonable Group
The Unreasonable Group stands out in its mission to support entrepreneurs tackling pressing global challenges. Their dedication to breaking down barriers for change-makers resonates with my vision of sustainable and responsible business practices.
B Corporation
B Corporation represents a movement I deeply respect, where businesses are driven not just by profit but by their social and environmental impact. This commitment to higher standards of transparency and accountability is crucial for the future of sustainable business.
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI)
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) is an organisation whose work in understanding and ending sexual violence is vital and commendable. Their efforts in funding research and influencing change are key to creating a safer world.
Personal challenges for a greater cause
I’m passionate about engaging in sponsored activities that challenge me physically and mentally, all in the name of raising money and awareness for charity. To date, I have:
- Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with a disabled group to raise funds for Able Child Africa
- Completed triathlons
- Done 10k runs and 100-mile bike rides
These challenges are not only about fundraising but are also a journey of personal growth and contribution to the greater good. They have pushed me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to connect with others in a meaningful way.
Connecting with the Kogi tribe: a journey of insight and connection
In May 2023, I had the profound privilege of immersing myself in the world of the Kogi community, nestled in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in northern Colombia. This experience was not just a visit; it was a journey into the heart of a culture deeply entwined with the wellbeing of our planet. This profound experience morphed into exploring ways that we could support the Kogi tribe.
